I love doing engagement sessions, and I’m glad I was able to do one yesterday because it’s been a while. During these shoots, I get to know the couple, find out their personality, and overall it’s just a very laid-back, fun, and entertaining session. Yesterday’s was a bit different however…you see, I’ve known both Graham and his fiancée, Monica, since what feels like the beginning of time. This means I went into yesterday’s shoot already knowing their personalities (very fun!) and a little more laid back than usual. These photos were taken both in Graham’s awesome backyard and at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (as you can see below).
Today, I bring you another chapter in my project to showcase local small businesses here in Indy. This one only been open for not even two months I believe and has already gathered an enormous following of fans and customers. I’m talking about West Coast Tacos. The collaborative effort of Arnold Park, Jon Ban, and Trent Davis has become a local sensation to the Broad Ripple scene, and recently to the downtown lunch break crowd.
These photos are SICK! Awesome job Jon.
Thanks Jasmine!
You are the best photographer in Indy! Period!
Thanks Johnny!
Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
Now I’m hungry. Those photos have so much style and personality. You do a great job of relating to your clients and their needs!
Jon, your photography is out of this world! My favorite for the campaign would have to be the first picture of Eduardo…the background, his stance, everything is perfect.
These photos are excellent! I can’t wait to see them in some new advertising for Kelley Indianapolis!
Jessica,
Thanks! The “tube” graphic should be up sometime around the beginning of the new semester, and I’d assume the rest of the campaign (look for the photos on the tv’s on the 2nd floor) will begin around that time as well.
Jon
Wow, again, and always!
These photos are wonderful, and IUPUI/Kelley should be very proud of them.
The first photos of Jim, Eduardo, and Heather are superb! Are you sure that they aren’t professional models?
Or, maybe you just make everyone look fantastic!!
It’s been great so far working at the Kelley School doing their photography for them. Today and tomorrow, I have the privilege of redoing some of the staff portraits for the faculty here. For them, it’s good to get a refresh of some possibly outdated portraits, and for me, it’s a good dip into more commercial portraiture, as well as being able to meet & greet with some of the business school staff.
Keri Kay - The dog shot and the one below it are my faves. Great work!
